Does the alarm ring with the screen off or the phone locked?
Yes. PausEvo uses the phone's alarm system, so the rest and sauna alarms ring on time with the screen off and can be stopped from the lock screen.
The alarm was late or didn't ring. What can I do?
Some phones (for example Xiaomi, Samsung, Huawei, OnePlus or Oppo) stop apps to save battery. On Android, open Settings › Apps › PausEvo › Battery and choose “Unrestricted” (or turn off battery optimisation). Also allow notifications and “Alarms & reminders” for PausEvo. On iPhone, allow notifications and alarms for PausEvo in Settings, and check that a Focus mode isn't silencing it.
What is free and what does Pro add?
Everything is free with 1 saved workout, including the sauna timer. Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited workouts and lets you pick your own alarm sound (a phone tone or any audio file).
Is Pro a subscription?
No. You pay once and keep Pro. There are no ads and no subscriptions.
How do I restore Pro on a new phone or after reinstalling?
Sign in to the store with the same account you bought with (Google account on Android, Apple ID on iPhone), open PausEvo and tap “Restore purchase” on the Pro screen. Purchases don't move between Android and iPhone, because each store handles its own.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by the store. On Android, use Google Play's refund request; on iPhone, use reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't issue refunds ourselves because we never see your payment.
Where are my workouts saved? Can I back them up?
Only on your phone. There is no PausEvo account or cloud. If backup is on in your phone's settings, your phone's own backup (Google account on Android, iCloud on iPhone) includes them, so they come back when you set up a new phone. Uninstalling the app without a backup deletes your workouts.
Does PausEvo save my workout history?
No. It keeps your workout templates, not a log of finished sessions. It's a timer, not a training diary.
Which phones does it work on?
Android 8.0 or later, and iPhone with iOS 15 or later.
How do I change the language?
The app follows your phone's language. On Android 13 or later you can also pick a language just for PausEvo in Settings › Apps › PausEvo › Language. On iPhone, use Settings › PausEvo › Language.
Does the app collect my data?
No. No account, no analytics, no ads, no tracking. See the privacy policy for details.
